Prepare for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test
The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is an internationally recognised examination of Japanese-language ability. It has five levels, from N5 at the introductory end to N1 at the most advanced end. Preparation should begin by choosing the level that matches the learner’s current ability and study goal.
Octagon’s preparation pathway can focus on vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, listening practice, timed exercises and regular mock-test review. JLPT does not directly test speaking or writing, so students planning to live or study in Japan should also continue practical communication practice alongside exam preparation.
